Morning everyone.

No running for me today, just rest and recovery from yesterday's race and fish fry. I think the fish fry was harder on me than the race... beer battered bass and crappie, french fries, hush puppies and key lime pie...

They posted the Official results from yesterday, 36:10, 36th OA, 6th AG. OA winner was 27:40, not a bad clip.

Dave- way to go on the race yesterday!

Good morning all.

Rest day for me, then two challenging weeks of training before my taper begins. This week will be the hardest with a 100 mile bike and a 20 mile run and then it all starts tapering off. I am getting excited about the Ironman.

BBS - Those are some respectable times for you splits yesterday. Great job!

Good golly, I think I've lost my mind. I was gonna post "REST DAY!", then I remembered I knocked out 2500 in the fishbowl before church. A long nap is on tap for this afternoon. Super busy day yesterday with working the race in the AM, then sitting in the sun all afternoon/evening at the music festival. My age must be showing because I've come to believe that loud doesn't necessarily mean good.

BBS--nicely done yesterday!

David--For what you've been doing lately, those workouts should be a piece of cake.

Hey Folks, Heeeeeeeeeee's Baaaaaack! A couple more setbacks had me down for a while. Turns out I was over medicated the past few months. Been getting out on the street for walking and running for about three weeks now and didn't want to post until I was feeling positive. So, I'm positively and optimistically cautious. Will post intermittently as I make my way back. Just wanted to say Yo! Sounds like you're doing well.

Up early this morning to support DW in the IronGirl tri in Racine, WI. I struggled to 14 miles in the afternoon sun. Probably 90F. The plan had been 15-16 but my legs weren't on the same page. Yesterday's CrossFit squatarama killed my quads...I can honestly say that this is worse than after any marathon I've run.

Dan - I guess too much of good thing is too much. Glad to see you have things sorted. Welcome back!

4boysmom - my head is spinning with your activities...

Dave - great job on the tri... rest and recovery

BBS - rest up beer boy.

Evening all from Bethlehem, PA this time. Ran a little over 17 on the trail in Akron before driving out here. Plan had been 20 but legs were not feeling it today, not sure why. By chance, there was an 100 mile ultra going on and I crossed path with many ultramarathoners on the way out and passed many on the way back. My start/end point was at mile 96, you'd think that would've encouraged me to finish the measly 20 but nope :)

Nice job on the race yesterday BBS and welcome back Dan. Good runs (or swim) everyone else.
