5 miles in Z2/Z3, basically just whatever pace I felt like at the time. Set my Garmin to show distance and HR, so I had no idea of pace. Ended up at 39:48 with HR of 140.

Congrats to a great weekend of workouts and racing everyone!!!

Thinking about maybe taking a rest day today, not sure. Body is feeling rather beat up. I'm sure I could knock out the planned workout, but not sure I would gain much from it at this point. But then again, maybe I'll get bored later. :) And it's an awfully nice day today...

Bravo SnS!!! That is one fantastic PR!

DOR I think - if I do anything it will be an easy spin and stretch, nothing structured. Legs feel great after yesterday, was nervous about my hips but everything seems good!

Century+ (105.7 miles by cyclometer - probably a mile or two short of actual) into Vermont with some serious climbing (over 7000 ft) ... hills were pretty relentless (steepest grade at some point was 17.5%) and longgg. Several mechanicals in the group along the way, including me (2 broken spokes at about the 70 mile mark). Pace ended up being very moderate (mid 15s) - partly due to mechanicals, partly due to terrain. And I do have to say - my ass is definitely looking forward to a day (or 2) off the saddle. It feels ...ummm ... tender. Legs feel fine though....

Off to read some race reports.

50.6 miles out West in MA relative to where I live (Charlton, Brookfield, Warren, Palmer). Bit more hilly than what I've been riding. Rode with zojmn151 and her husband. He was inspired to quote Blade Runner before we headed up a series of 3 hills, each increasing in length. "Time to die." LOL! They were hard work, but not *that* bad.

Then, I visited with AdCo and MoCo for a bit. They *do* have many tasty beers.

Had a nice run on the rail trail with some friends. Did the first 7+ with them at a nice pace, and then did 3 by myself for 10. Feeling better, was a great day.

Thor, we hit the start of the rail trail out in W. Boylston. It's about 3 flatish out and back, then there is about a mile out that is a bit hillier. Of course, it is "uphill" on the out" and then nice and fast back.. It's a false flat, so you just can't figure out why it is so hard.
