Nice run Don!

Third tough day in a row for me. Schedule called for as much biking as possible, with a 2 hour minimum. I wanted to get 3 hours in but I'm finding that mid-shift my motivation just reaches a low. So, 2 hours on the exercise bike. Worked my way from 100w to 180w in the first 10 min and held 180w as my baseline power. Added in 2 x 20 min @ 215w to simulate uphills at LP and 2 x 10 min @ 150w and high cadence to simulate downhills.

I'm not sure I posted yesterday...did a late afternoon run with one otter to pick up a few things at the grocery store for a BBQ with some friends. Last run before tomorrow's local 5K.

Today - 1500yds in the pool. Had the whole pool to myself for a bit which was so peaceful! Did a warm up, some 200s, 100s, drills, and cool down. Times are finally starting to come down a bit - yahoo!

Hope everyone's having a great weekend!

4 mile recovery run, although the pace turned out to be not very "recovery-ish." Oh well. Then off to the pool to horse around with DD for a while, now just puttering around the house.

Oh, and the day started off with a quad-burning descent through heavy mist back down from Pyramid Rock where DS and I spent the night.

Lazy Sunday...hit the food carts for lunch and now we're napping/puttering while our friends are at a wedding.
