Great to have company for sure!

Recovery day after yesterday's 17miles. Dragged my dead body to a pool for 2850m swim. I am supposed to run 7miles but boy am I tired.... Gorgeous sunny day out, I should take in some Vitamin D. Definately don't like Sat./Sunday workouts swap. And tomorrow's speedwork.... much needed recovery week is here, though.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, all!

10.5 mile run in 2:00. Holy crap, that's BELOW my 13.1 PR pace.. except today was Z2 (and a tiny Z3) time. Felt awesome. Maybe because I'm carrying 10lbs less CLOTHING cuz i'm in Florida :)

My bike wheel is busted, so have to wait for 90min ride until later. Just headed over to an LBS and they said I'm screwed so I bought a low end training wheel. Going out later

Ron, that is fablous!!! You are rocking! Sorry to hear about your wheel though. Enjoy Sunny Florida.

6.5miles done. Surprisingly, I felt great. Very glad I pushed myself out of the door. One thing consistent during this training cycle is I run well even when I feel tired. Exactly what the plan is supposed to teach my body for running 26.2miles.

Yoshiko - good for you for doing the run after all!!

Ron - nice job hitting that pace!

I don't think I posted yesterday...it was DH's bday so ran 5m in the morning (4 with the stroller, 1 with dog) then played mini golf in the afternoon with the kiddos FIB dinner at our local sushi joint and homemade carrot cake. Yum! Today - 6.2m run with Lisa (hahaoya)...2 laps around a nearby lake. It's a hilly route, but nice scenery. Took it easy - she has a cold and we're both on a step back week. Good weekend!

Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I actually forgot to do my run yesterday (honest!), so decided I'd better get on the bike today as penance. Two intervals at 85%, first one 20 min second one 10 min. Good amount of sweat.

I ran...WHAT?! Yep. 3 miles. No joke. There's a small chance I can still refer to myself as a recreational runner.

6 miles on the treadmill. Had planned on going outside but considering there was a cold weather advisory and I was slightly hungover, I opted for the treadmill. Watched the first half of a certain Oscar nominated movie about a nutty ballerina. Good movie!
