Good morning, TEAM LIT!

4boys: The Crazist Goon award went to the Goon (our club is titled the Goon Squad Runners) who exemplified Craziness throughout the 2010 season, with crazy being doing things that others wouldn't or don't. Cited during the ceremony was, "This Goon ran Mt. Washington as a training run. He also ran the Boston Marathon on New Years Day for the sake of ringing in the New Year. Etc. Etc." A fun award. Personally I think there was someone else who deserved it more. But I'll good with it.

Spin class followed by a 45-minute run. Needed to burn off some of the calories I am going to consume today.

Julie - How do you like P90X? I am thinking of getting it (if a friend of mine can find it for me cheap or free)

Did my first run in about two weeks today, a whopping 2.75 miles with my dog. My doctor told me to take it easy with my back today and take baby steps. I feel good and am looking forward to getting back into shape. I am hoping to join the local YMCA in the next week or two so that I can get back in the pool.

Also, I start my new job tomorrow and am really psyched to get back at it.

Have a great day everyone!

We can't let the Sunday workout thread go with less than 10posts! So here it is.

6miles indoor track with a few friends - Great recovery run in Shorts & Moving somewhere!!!!!!!!!!! Our swim/tri club hosted another Supoerbowl Swimmeet at a local H.S. I was volunteering and was able to sneak in a recovery run (with borrowed shirt & shorts, I wasn't prepared at all) with a few like-minds at the indoor track at the H.S. Nice!

A small step-back week, yet with a little over 51miles in the books. Feeling 'comfortable fatigue' if there is such thing. Heading toward 60mpw. Bring it on.

I ended up with a 6.3 mile "Tempovery" run with Brew_Dad at Tri-Tammy's house. That's recovery run for B_D and a tempo run for me, in case you're wondering. Friggin 7:39 pace average and it started at 8-something, so you can imagine how it ended. After that I didn't feel too guilty about the insanely good SuperBowl spread.
