Slow getting to post, but not slow getting to my workouts early this morning. First a few shout-outs...

CC-Girl: Way to get back on the horse. As for cars slashing you, to be honest, it doesn't bother me in the slightest anymore. Chalk it up to it being a part of what we do. I will often play a game on really sloppy days, and that is, I try to splash the cars before they do me. I often win, but I often lose the "who's most wet" derby. And yes, sometimes it gets really cold, but hey, it's also fun. Sometimes.

Chicago-Area Tri-Peeps: All that crap you had yesterday is now entering New England. It has been snowing on and off here for the last, like, 4 days with little accumulation. Sometimes it would even turn to rain, but today the front is pushing through and bringing sub-10F temperatures and -- gasp! -- more snow. Yikes!

der Kaiser: Nice run!

Beth: Very cool introduction to the Trainer! It is a very fun tool if you look at it that way. Ingore the people who say that they hate it, because you don't want them influencing you. Just know that it will hurt as you get more miles in and keep it all quality.

1:30 Trainer session:
o WU - 20 min
o 7 x 7 min G7 (G5 normal) w/3' rest
Pushed avg 289W. Took me awhile to get my power up on warm up. Intervals felt okay even though I could tell my legs were fatigued from yesterday's run. All good. Goal was to push quality watts and do it to last through an hour thirty.
Followed immediately by...

4 mile brick run. Legs were very fatigued as I transitioned and pumped with pace right away. Wasn't easy and still felt fatigued, but they moved. Great overall pace with near PR for course.
