Morning...

Hope everyone got what they wanted from Santa. I had already gotten my electric guitar so I was happy. Fun to play with while I can't exercise as much.

Gonna try two days in a row for the second time this week and see how it feels.

Have a great post Christmas hangover (I don't mean the alcohol kind)

Mom -- Another great swim. (Looks on in admiration).

Had a nice holiday. Glad it's over though. Need to jump right into my end-of-year stuff and what promises to be a busy 2011. Gonna kick off with 12 here after I grab a file from work.

Hi everyone!

Way to go ont he workout, Dan

4boys - I am impressed you have the discipline to go out in the cold and then change into swimwear.

chances- hope it was a good 12.

12 for me, too. It was very quiet. Precarious footing in a couple of places, but a nice run. I'm just so pleased with how much better physically and mentally I have been feeling this month.

Rest day for me, and a good day to pull that card. Holiday lunch/supper with one side of the family, and then off to the other side for a few hours before coming back to Grandma's.

zrun-Where are you or the inlaws at in IL? My granny's is over in Glenview, real close to RunAsics I think, but since he's in England we weren't able to run this year. :(

Hopefully you can unwind a bit from yesterday everybody.

Should be 4+ miles easily today when it's all said and done (don't have the stuff in front of me). I'll probably get a good workout tomorrow shoveling - last forecast said 10 to 16 inches of snow, with blizzard conditions tonight and tomorrow. Good thing I'm not a at work this week

Are the east coast peeps ready for "Old Man Winter" blowing thru??!! Lets hope it's not a repeat of last year! Managed to get 5m on the trails with the pup when the snow started. It was a beautiful run along the frozen water in the light snow. Pup really enjoyed her time out. Now it's time to hit the fridge for party left overs and loafing around. Eagles game postponed due to weather... bummer.

MOM - LOVE the pic!!!! I could kiss him on the big wet nose!

Dan - Enjoy the new toy, but promise you won't do stairway to heaven.

Alex - enjoy the family

Dave - home yet? I heard AL got snow yesterday!

Happy Boxing Day all,

I've been lazin' around the SIL's house for a while but it's time to get moving. Sorry, Apple but none of that East Coast weather for me today. 40s and cloudy here in Oregon, rain has even stopped for the moment. DW & I are SO very glad to have escaped out west for the holidays. Bummer about the Eagles game, I was getting up for seeing that on national TV.

And chances, I hear you about those nagging work things and a busy year ahead. I'm in the same boat; even have to dial in to a couple of meetings during my vacation.

Will head out for another easy run soon on the day I complete my 47th trip around the sun. Have fun out there and be safe with all that snow falling.

Hey, all, nice runs, swims, etc... and happy birthday Hawk! Feel like I'm fighting off a cold or something and slept in, but decided to go out for 13. Like jebba, footing was a bit dicey but kept plugging away. Big hot chocolate craving at the end, not something I usually have. Alex, I'm out west in Naperville and in-laws are even further west. Have fun at your grandma's!

I hope you all survive the snow. That is the storms that dumped 70-85 inches of snow on the mountains and ski resorts last week. We got a little bit of snow this afternoon. As for me I went to church and really have not done anything else. Have a great evening everyone.
