Yoshiko - Congrats on the masters win!

RonBo - Sorry to hear about the lost client, that sucks.

10 mi on the treadmill in 1:17. Knee is back to 95%, time to get focused on Boston training again. Need to rebuild my base and ramp up mileage quickly. Also need to lose 20 lbs. Oh well, time to get busy!

Enjoy the weekend, tri-peeps!

2mi run through the hills of the neighborhood, felt a little winded but otherwise good. Love all of the family runs yesterday! Enjoy what's left of the weekend!

Reg - I knew you would hit 4800 miles!
Mike - Good luck with another boston training!!

Another cold morning (felt like 12F), 6.5 miles done easy. Groin a bit sore. Hope I didn't make it worse... Then FIT class. Getting stronger, I can tell.

Watching DD's dance Studio performing at a retirement home. Very nice.

Push ups, pull ups and core, followed by an 8 mile run in 1:04:40. Just headed out with no goal in mind and didn't even check the garmin for time until it told me I had gone 8 miles. Felt good just running and not worrying about pace/HR, etc.

0.8 mi walk with the dogs and a nearly 3.1 mi run...affected more by the wine I drank last night than the 2 hour cycling/strength class Adam & I did yesterday morning.

Led the first Endurance Spin class of the season today, low attendance - it got nice out suddenly and I bet most people were outside. Wish I was :)

Oh well, I cycled some of my stress away which is helpful - and 1200-1400 calories, which is even better. Good 2 hour session mix of cadence, hill, speed - all around z2/z3. All good. Felt STRONG. After multiple crappy runs and feeling like I'm a newbie there, it sure was nice to feel like I'm "good" at something. Stupid, I know I'm good at lots of things, but I really felt GOOD at this. Rode everyone else into the ground - started before them all, finished after them all, and went harder than all of them. THAT felt good. Dumb, but a victory I will take.

What was supposed to be a nice and easy, Z2 run turned into what felt like an all-out 7-mile sprint with some old trail buddies. Don't even want to talk about my heart rate. Coach is not going to be happy...
