December 12 already??! Yikes.

8 mile run for me today, 2 x yesterday's loop. First loop was a "solid" pace, then I picked it up for the second. Good run, and I got to wear shorts and a tee shirt! A balmy 58F today.

Enjoy your Sunday, Peeps.

Edit - Haven't received my Secret Santa assignment yet (will PM Tithers as soon as she recovers from whatever virus she's fighting), so apologies in advance to whoever I am linked to, your present might be a little late.

It's snowing!!! Blustery and cold - beautiful day! Decided it's been too long since I ran last (LAST SATURDAY!) so I laced up my brand new kicks and went for a conservative 1.7 through the neighborhood. Felt great, legs didn't protest, lungs only wimpered a little. Back to the kitchen for more Christmas goodie extravagance.

Hope you all had a great day.

Alicia - Having snow in GA, or are you currently in MI? Your home town must have been hit hard by this wintery weather. We got 4-5" and snow still coming down. Of course the snow blower is in a shop for repair (yeah we had many months to get this done and waited too long...) but it was nice to put two healthy young kids to work

70min in a spin class early in the AM - my legs were sore from the hard yoga yesterday. Wanted to go for a run, but I let it go. Yesterday was a crazy workout day - seems to be an all day affair due to nobody needing me and I felt like keep movin'. I posted I swam 4000yd then the tri club meeting, then went for an advaned yoga class. Holly sh*t, 75min of non-stop sweat festival. Then, after running some errands, I ended up running 8miles.

Ran 8 miles through a blizzard with my yaktrax, with 8 other dudes. Did 20 minutes at a new pool my family joined up for, then just finished 90 punishing minutes on the trainer watching the Bears get destroyed. Now off to MILs house for pizza night.

For the first time in three weeks I rode my bike. Granted it was in my basement hooked up to my trainer, but still I was on it and riding. I did a "getting back into it" 45 minute ride while my wife wrapped Christmas presents and I watch an old episode of Modern Family. I felt pretty good and best of all my hip flexor issues that I have didn't bother me in the least. Looks like just my rehad for the next week or so is going to include a lot of time on the trainer.

Cheers!

A dusting of snow in GA. My parents were under a blizzard warning - I think they ended up getting about 8-10". I know it sounds crazy, but I kind of miss shoveling snow!
