Good morning peeps

Here goes round 2. I'll see what my legs feel like in my warm up to determine how I'll run today. I don't think a PR is possible, but maybe a sub 21. If not I'll just kick back and cruise. This is a way under the radar race. The last 1/4 mile is a nice 5% incline.

BBS- those both good races. On consecutive days, too. Impressive.

Dan - nice 30 minute workout.

Our running club was to meet at 6 am for a long run. Woke up at five to an almost biblical looking thunderstorm. Hemmed ad hawed and checked doppler, which showed it passing. A few crazy folks went out into the gale at 6 as planned. Another group of us started at 6:45, and it cleared up fast. 15.5 out of 18 planned. Good enough.

zrun- bummer about the weather. Nice run considering the conditions, though.

Gutted out 20 miles this morning "with" the Sunday group. My upper body was very sore and my quads tired from CT. I blew up after even pacing most of the way and the last 2 miles were basically a very painful jog. Other than the social aspect, it's a complete waste of time running with the group... they start late and I often end up running by myself anyway. Probably do a solo 20 next Sunday. Once home, I showered and we headed to a kids birthday party... the joy! Thank heaven for Advil.

BBS - you are a rock star. I think my legs would fall off doing back to back 5ks

Jebba - Glad you didn't get hit by frogs falling from the sky. Nice job getting most of the run in, post frogs.

Dan - sweet!

bbs - impressive on the back-to-back 5ks

dan - good job, things are moving it along

jebba - thanks and nice job on the 15.5. As long as there's no old guy building an ark you should be good to go.

RA - kinda warm/humid out this morning, good job getting in the 20.

kfuller - nice 7 & enjoy the rest

I was spectating at a local 10k this morning and wound up getting in about 30 minutes of random milage running out to a spot on the course, cheering on runners for a while and running back to the finish. Couple of people actually ran this and the half in Madison yesterday, but I am not that crazy.

Yet another flyby. 'Net connection issues. Gotta love Time Warner. NOT!!! "Raced" a half ironman today. Mmm... not my best effort but I'm satisfied with the results. Keeping the string alive and managed snagged hardware.
