An 8-mile trek with the little otters in the stroller. Did a route that was a little challenging...pace was slower than usual, but felt good. Followed it up with a short walk with the pooch around the neighborhood.

Greatest time at Battle of Waterloo this morning. 10 legs totaling of 1.45mile swim, 26.3mile bike and 13.5 mile trail run!! 4:25 and won the AG. Loved it very much!! Oh except Mosquitos were unbelievably nasty.

Warm/mid 60s - Sunny and calm. Crawford/Puckett/Security/Kiva/Fontaine/Grinnell/Crawford/Upton/home. Short slow easy effort run. Didn't feel good, upset stomach. Stretching afterward.

Back from a busy but fun weekend which started with a local 5K on Friday evening where I paced Little BrewDad to a 37:25 which beat his dad's 19:04, handicapped of course. BrewDad doubled at the race and raced the mile as well. That was followed by dinner with some running club friends and then a late night for me & BD while we unearthed all our backpacking gear. We headed into the Cascades and backpacked 3 miles into the Rosary Lakes, climbing about 800 feet. A good first outing for Little BrewDad though the mosquitos were TERRIBLE! I think our late summer had a lot to do with that since they are usually fewer this time of year. All told about 7 miles of hiking through the weekend and some hill work. :)
