Rest day today in prep for tomorrow's first XC practice. I guess the workout isn't until Tuesday but Sunday will be my rest day throughout the season so I'll get used to it now.

Have a great day everyone!

I haven't sweated that much in awhile. I got sweat under my contacts and didn't have anything dry to wipe my eyes

Nice runs to all you Midwesterners.

6 easy/recoveryish today, out and back from my house. Finally, it was tolerable to be outside. My legs were still a little sore from Friday, so hopefully this run worked that out. I felt really good coming back and was 1:17 faster on the way back including a short walk break to fiddle with my mp3 player. Humidity below 70% and a breeze helped the 80+ temps today.

Sue on the other hand looked strong -

I also lost a contact -

I weighed myself this am before run 212 - after run 200. I drank a lot.

Sue if you decide to show up next time in 2 weeks, I will be ready to run a little faster. I could help pace 10-15 @ MP? Just a thought.

The winds seem to cool us down just a little so I headed to the high school track this afternoon. But as I got there the sun came out furiously and reminded us we are still in 90 degree weather. I knocked out 3 miles and then drove to gym about 2 miles away to do 7 on the treadmill. But I'm drenched.

4 miles indoors since it is nearly 100 degrees outside. Then some abs work.

45.5 miles on the bike this afternoon along country roads on a solo ride.

This was my 3rd time out on my road bike in the last couple of weeks after a 3 year hiatus. Its coming back to me fairly quickly, but I might have to go find some people to ride with, as I feel kind of vulnerable out there by myself.

Plan today was a 20 mile long run. I decided to overdistance today and did mile marathon loop.

Actually, it is slightly longer than a marathon.

I am happy to say I still have 26.2 miles in me. But, my time sucked.

Run Segments
