Going out to do 11 again today. I did 11 last Sunday but forgot water and got dehydrated. I'm going to bring water this time and hope for a better experience. I had a big breakfast and I'm trying to drink more water before setting out too. I'll be wearing my newish Asics and they feel fantastic so I'm excited.

7 weeks until my Half, I feel confident that I will be ready!

Have a great day everyone.

Sounds like you're in a great position for the Half. I only finished a 10 mile run a month before my half, spent the rest of the month bouncing back from injury, and still finished. I'm confident you'll have a strong showing at your Half.

Today was supposed to be my day off, but the weather has been so bad here, I haven't been able to run much this last week, so out of withdrawal, I ran a 5K distance.

I'm glad I did. I unofficially shattered my 5K PR. Officially it stands at 43 minutes which I set in November, but I haven't run a 5K race since then. Today's time was 34:30. I'm hoping to break the 30 minute barrier by November.
