Super suckage in the fishbowl this morning. Heart wasn't in it. Only splish splashed 1500 before calling it a day. Might put Sapphire on the trainer this afternoon just to loosen up the legs.

I pulled (i think) something yesterday on my run. My side/back was hurting, what I thought was just a side stitch, then I slide/fell on that side going down a hill then it REALLY started hurting. Got worse when I finished my run and when I got home. Had to resort to some pain killers. Maybe an abductor? Its on my right side kinda in the back, but on the inside part of my chest cavity. A little better today. I also tripped over a stump a little over a mile in and fell, then ran into a small tree w/ my shoulder around 5 miles in. Trail running is dangerous.

Checking in from the indoor track. Already laid down a 5:42 mile, an 8 second improvement over 2 weeks ago. 800 coming up shortly.

33. Then the 3000m in 11:43. Finally a 5000m which I told myself to run @ MP, ended up at 21:26...how I would live to hold that pace for 26.2.

BBS - ouch. Hope it's nothing serious. Note that your abductor is not in your chest.

Hawk - nice job on the track

4boysmom - well, you stuck with it for 1500, that's 1499 more than I'd do.

Apple - hello!

Woke up feeling crappy. Whatever DD and then DW had is now doing a number on me. Anyway, decided to put off my long run until after DD's ballet class. Didn't feel better and so didn't have the will power to run outside rather, being optimistic, figured the indoor track would make it easier. Just felt lousy so bagged it at 5. My training is seriously in the crapper. With 12 weeks to go, I'm hoping I can find some gold in the all the horse shit.

MTA: if the two rat-on-a-rope dogs next door don't stop barking soon there may be newspaper headlines, such as "sick and frustrated runner releases yappy dogs into the wild".
