Garmin 410 vs 610 vs. 210: The 610 is an upgrade, so to speak, to the 410. It's a bit smaller, it can show 4 "screens" at once on the face (as opposed to the 410 only being able to show 3), it's got higher-tech GPS stuff to it (I know, I'm not being very technical. sorry), and it's probably a bit more expensive (I forget the exact pricing). Its cool new feature is that it's got touch screen maneuvering, while the 410 still uses the bezel (although the bezel on the 410 has greatly improved over the 405). All in all, the 610 is, like I said, basically an upgrade to the 410 in the sizing, screens, and GPS.

The 210, by comparison, is like a suped-up stopwatch. (Not really, but it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that someone with a 305/405/310/410 might be used to). The thing about the 210 is it has been constructed to be able to be used indoors or out with relative ease. Pop the footpod in and it'll transmit your indoor running data easily. It's less expensive than the 410/610.

I've had a good few days of workouts: Sunday was a 12.5 miler over the bridges at the shore and then a 1 mile cooldown jog with my nephew. Yesterday was a 1hr45min bike ride. Today was a 7 mile tempo run, and I'm heading to the pool for a short workout in a few mins.

Summer break started today. Couldn't come soon enough this year.
