Headed out this morning with maccabeth

It was cold-- in the early 40's... brr! Wore shorts and a long sleeved shirt-- it was much warmer by the end. We both decided to run the 10 mile option and do a training run, not a race per se. I wanted to see if the ITBS flared up.

We line up just in time, and we are off. Less than a minute to cross the start line... not a very big race. I don't remember too much - we just talked. Maccabeth is great company.

At mile 7 we were at 1:19:56 and I asked if it was okay if I ran ahead to see how my legs responded to the faster speed. My knees were not hurting at this point.

Got to mile 8 at 1:29:52.
mile 9 at 1:39:38
mile 10 at 1:48:32

Maccabeth wasn't too far behind me. Afterwards we went for breakfast with a friend of hers who's screen name I can't remember.

Now for the decision--- 10 next weekend or 26.2 -- I'll have to decide this week what my knee can or cannot handle.
