<p>I am not an Apple convert or fan.  But I do know and respect that he has helped Apple move technology forward in big ways.</p>

<p>It was kind of a weird feeling when I first heard the news.  I'm not a huge fanboy of Apple (or anything in general) but it did still kinda' shock me despite knowing he had been battling health issues.</p>

<p>I've also just read that those pricks from that purported church in KS are going to protest Jobs' funeral.  It appears they used a freakin' iPhone to tweet the announcement (recognizing serious irony is apparently not a strong suit of the group either)</p>

<p>I was saddened to hear about his passing. I am, and always have been, an avid Apple fan and have never owned anything but. Well, I do have a blackberry not an iphone, because the iphone is too big for my pocket to run with! LOL. As sick as he has been for so many years, it still shocked me. Though it should not have since he just resigned.</p>
