Ok, St Patrick's day is over for another year. So, after working all day with a hangover, I went to the pool to start training for the 1 mile. After doing my warm up laps, I then did my timed 400 yards for the Sprint I'm doing in May. Just under 12 minutes. Not the 11:43 I did last week, but hey, it's still under 12 minutes.

I took a short break and started the mile swim. 36 lengths... I felt like I was in the water forever. But in reality it was about 40 minutes. I felt pretty good at the end but was starting to run out of energy. Not to mention I was getting a little dizzy due to doing 36 lengths of backstroke. Well, I proved I can do it. I didn't officially time it. I won't do that for a few weeks yet.

BTW, the hangover was worth it.

CTW, you da man. Well done. I am pretty sure I was the only one in New England w/o a hangover today. I can't believe they open the Black Rose at 6am and start serving at 8am. My Irish (Belfast UK) colleagues are impressed.
