<b>Friday 10/26 Update</b><br><br>
The weekday war plays out a bit differently than the weekend. Unless you have a schedule like <b>Notey</b> to run a weekday 20 miler, the majority of players plug away during the week with shorter runs or workouts.<br><br>
That is, unless you're running doubles like <b>ksrunr,</b> <b>pace2race,</b> or <b>joplus.</b> Its no wonder why they lead the way. Joplus is one of original VRAA purists -- all run miles. And lots of them.<br><br><b>Tithers</b> and <b>IEatHills4Meals</b> swim their way to tapering for IMFL and MCM, respectively. Only Tithers could call a 3600m swim a taper. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/notworthy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="notworthy"><br><br><b>QuixoticNotions</b> busted out a 14 miler and an hour of weights for a 68 point day. One of the top point-getters in the weekday war.<br><br>
Along with marathon training, Professor <b>Sistergoldenhair</b> is teaching 2-3 pilates and yoga classes on some days. But rightfully, she claims only the 12 points per day maximum for the "Alternate Workout" category.<br><br>
Rounding out the weekday warriors are <b>tigger</b> and <b>willamona,</b> running and coreing (is that a word?) to 50+ point days.<br><br>
Now 25 days into the round, twenty-six players (30%) have eclipsed the 600 point mark. That's roughly the equivelant of 150 miles. Tremendous work by everyone. I expect great things in the upcoming races, for those racing.<br><br>
Team standings: Top four teams held position.<br><br>
I envision a huge weekend with many folks preparing for late fall marathons like NYC, Richmond, and Philly. Let's not forget our weekend racers in DC and Grand Rapids.<br><br>
Train smart, and don't hurt yourself out there.<br>

HT, thanks again for taking the helm and for doing such a great job. I realize I and a lot of others thank you a bunch of times throughout this and the thanks may seem as if we're just being polite. I truly mean it. You and Roots and the others add a lot to the VRAA experience.
