Yes, indeed. It's Sunday over here.

86F 62% Heat index 92F
partly cloudy, breezy
3.1 miles, SLOWLY on porcine feet, hefty hooves and boneless ankles
swim in outdoor pool

Note to self: Nix the soya and fish sauce on ramen noodles before flying.

Ran along the Singapore River, taking in the sights and smells (the river has that salty aroma, kinda like a Chinese market with dried shrimp bins). Had planned to do a little more than 5k, but I just got hours ago and I'm a bit discombobulated. And it's HOT! Sure feels good, though, to sweat!

It's summer, of course, and the fauna is beautiful. Think I'll go up to Fort Canning Park before the sun sets, then have dinner outdoors at one of the many places along the river ... or maybe go to Indian Town or Chinatown. Such diversity in Singapore where you can visit a mosque, Christian church, and Hindu temple all in one neighbourhood, dine on Malay, Chinese or Indian food, or combinations thereof. I'll stroll over to Baghdad Street for a teh tarik (pulled tea) tomorrow and visit the National Orchid Garden.

Will catch up to Saturday goings-on later. Hope everyone had great races and runs.
