I have a chance to buy speedplay light action pedals with less than 1000 miles on them--for $50--is this a good deal? or should I be skeptical? <img alt="uhoh2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/uhoh2.gif">

When you mount used speedplays, it's important to apply blue loc tite to the threads (both the large and small screws) and not over tighten the cleat mounts, otherwise they can get stuck and won't engage. I'd also take the opportunity to grease them with the adapter that should come with the pedals and a standard needle nose grease gun.<br><br>
That seems like an OK price for someone's used pedals I guess.
