<span style="font-family:Verdana;">1. Why do you run?</span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">It’s the only form of exercise I have been able to consistently stick with, probably due to the simplicity of it. I started running five years ago to lose weight and discovered that I’m athletic. Who knew?</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">2. What is your greatest accomplishment?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I don’t have the feeling that I have achieved it yet. I can tell you that it won’t be related to running. It’ll probably have something to do with my career or finding some type of employment that is fulfilling and meaningful to me. I haven’t come close to this yet. It may not even be a paying job, and it may not happen until I’m an old woman.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">3. What is your motto/theme song?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I can’t think of one particular theme song, but I love to listen to ‘Rockin the Suburbs’ by Ben Folds on my ipod when I run. For some reason, that album gets me going more than anything else.</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">4. How do you deal with bad runs?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I just take them in stride. The only time I get frustrated is if I suspect an injury.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">5. Do you reward yourself for good runs? How?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Like others have said, a good run is its own reward. However, in the summer, I do enjoy a burger and beer in the evening, after a day of hard physical labor.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">6. Who do you admire most?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">My husband. He is determined, decisive, generous, and full of integrity and character. He also puts up with my mood swings, and supports my marathon training. The man is a saint.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">7. What is the greatest advice you have ever received?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">‘Substance over style’…said to me many, many times by my mother when I was single.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">8. What do wish you had learned younger?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I wish I would have appreciated the value of my education. I was an idiot and pretty much wasted four years of college.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">9. What do you wish you could do but can't?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I wish I could sit in the lotus position. I have never been able to do that.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">10. How would your friends describe your personality?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Sensitive, bookish, maybe a little silly.</span></span><br><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">11. What do you wear running? favorite outfit?</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I have a hot pink tank top with the letters of my name ironed on the back and a pair of blue shorts that never ride up. I’ve worn this outfit for an 18 miler, 20 miler, half marathon, and two marathons and countless shorter runs.</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">12. What has been your favorite race? Hard to say! Probably the Indianapolis Mini Marathon.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">13. Do you have a goal race right now? No. I’m focusing on other things right now. I’d like to train for another marathon, but probably won’t be able to do that for a few more years.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">14. What makes you happy? My family. I am extremely close with my parents and my siblings. I laugh the hardest when we’re all together.</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">15. Tell us one interesting thing about you that you haven't said (at least not often) on this forum in the past.</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">I sold encyclopedia type books door-to-door for three summers while in college. I did this in Arkansas, Texas, and Alabama for the Southwestern Company. Any other book kids out there?</span></span><br><br><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#000000;">16. Tell us one interesting thing about another user of this forum that has not been posted (at least not often) on this forum in the past (make sure the other person will not object to posting the info!).</span></span><br><br><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Sorry. I don’t have anything to reveal. I have lurked on CR since 2003, so I know all of you a lot better than you know me. mwahahahah <img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif"></span></span>

I really liked your answer to #2: "It may not even be a paying job, and it may not happen until I’m an old woman"<br><br>
I have similar aspirations (except for the old <i>woman</i> part)
