I'm apparently an idiot.<br><br>
So I have iTunes on my home and work computer. I had synced my iPhone to the one at home, and had all my music (purchased on iTunes) on it. I downloaded some new stuff here at work, and when I synced the music, it only put the 4 new songs on there, and took off all the old stuff.<br><br>
Now when I go into iTunes, I don't see anywhere, even in my Purchased Music, the rest of the songs I have bought on iTunes that I used to have on my iPhone and iShuffle.<br><br>
How do I find these and get all the songs on both places/devices.<br><br>

You can't sync an iPhone with multiple computers, AFAIK. When you sync with the computer at home it should load all the old songs (but probably erase the 4 that you have on the computer at work).

Your iTunes library exists only on one machine so you've actually got two libraries, one on your home computer and one on your work computer. In order to keep your main library's content on your iPhone and then add stuff purchased on your work computer's copy of iTunes, you need to change the syncing options. Have iTunes auto sync w/your phone when @home and manual sync when @work.

You must resync your iPod to your home iTunes. The songs you bought at the office will be gone from your iPod.<br><br>
There are some tools on the web that allow you to move iTunes Music Store music from<br>
one PC to another.

I'd take the 4 songs from the work computer, put them on a CD or thumb drive (the little memory sticks) and put them on your computer at home. That way they'll be in the same library as the rest of your music.

Yep, me too. I downloaded something, can't remember the name of it, and then replicated my entire iTunes library from my work computer to my wife's new iMac. Worked great.

So why in the hell are all my purchased songs not available my iTunes account? Just because I downloaded on different computers. It also wiped the songs out that I had downloaded from my iPhone. Where will I find those?<br><br>

They'll be on the computer that you downloaded them to only.<br><br>
You'll have to sync your iphone to your other itunes library to get the other songs back - and it'll erase the four songs that you downloaded to the other library. Those songs that you downloaded aren't on the web - they're on the computer's hard drive.<br><br>

So I'll re-sync songs when I get home, and that will be good. Now I need to figure out how to get the 4 songs from work to home, to get them all together.<br><br>
But I'm still not sure about the ones I downloaded FROM MY PHONE. They aren't on any computer? Or are they on the one at home that I synced with?<br><br>
I only put iTunes on at work so that I could sync my work calendar. I should just not use it for music, that would be the simplest way to go.

Actually, you just need to always manually sync your libraries to your iphone/ipod or whatever. NEVER auto sync. It will always default to whatever library you are autosyncing, thus erasing anything you add manually. You can always use 2 computers on one ipod. Actually you can authorize up to 5 different computers, but each computer has its own library unless you load the same stuff on each computer. Itunes is local to that hard drive, not internet based, so there's no way to access all your different libraries at once.<br><br>

I know that with my ipod, you can always burn songs to a CD then load them into the other itunes. That's how it's always been done actually. (That would be independent from whether it's an iphone or whatever.) If you want to get songs (non itunes purchased) OFF one device to another computer, you can used yamipod. Do a google search for it and it will pop up. You don't have to install it and it is very user friendly.
