umm, this one is short and sweet. jpgarland posted something about running to the soundtrack of endurance (disney movie about haile geb... see it if you haven't!) so i got the idea of putting together a bunch of movie sountracks. only 40 minutes... mostly good movies, some cheesy ones, but good, mostly orchestral, music throughout. (hey, by the way, this is an olympic year... this will help get you in the mood...)

emcee, how does this work? should I be able to upload your mixes directly to my ipod? I haven't uploaded any of them. Is there a list of all your mixes and what's on them somewhere?

sound, you should be able to right-click on the mp3 link, select "Save Target As" and download the file to your computer. with an ipod i think you have to import the file into itunes and download to your ipod, with an mp3 player you can just copy the file directly to your external device (when you attach your mp3 player to your pc).

mustang sally has been wonderful enough to put up a set of links to the other mixes on the coolrunningboomers pbwiki page.

ilene, run forest run was the last track that i cut. didn't fit; or rather "good to go" provided a better segue between chariots and ben hur.

it is a beautiful piece, and who can forget that scene with his leg braces flying off? gives me shivers just thinking about it.

Now that looks like my kind of playlist! I'm downloading it right now and will try it on my Friday run. Thanks, MC!

solarmix4 here:

http://coolrunningboomers.pbwiki.com/Mixes

is about 70 minutes with my favorite mc solaar tracks. i made it before his most recent cd came out though, so it doesn't have anything from chapitre 7.

if your class can translate all the lyrics, i'd love to see them...

Been playing catch up here, just downloaded pretty much all the mixes, and I'm SOOOO looking forward to having new tunes to listen to! I must admit, a number of the tracks (OK, entire mixes) really aren't my style of music, but I figured I'd try them anyway, never know what might inspire me, especially if I don't know what song is coming next. So thanks so much, mcsolar and DaveinAA!
