i'm to get back into my competition regime. for my big race i think with some training i could anniahilate the competition in the 52 mile distance.

so last night i made out the January schedule. WOW. i forgot how hard competition training is.

i even had to warn my SO that i might be "gone" for a while .

i did invite her to bike with me on my LSD skates though, trying to make a compramise. so far there is 1 rest day, two easy days on the weight training, but they are skate heavy. there are only three skate days in a week right now, mainly due to the cold. however i know that by april there will be more than likely 5 skate days as i'll supplement commute via skating.

i even remembered to include on the schdule Stretching. i think i'm ready but someone hold mty hand it's been a while since i went off the deep end.

Good luck with your training, Chuck!

How long has it been since you trained like this? When is your race?

I think it would be fun to support an SO on the bike for that kind of training, and therefore get to participate in it, in a way. I have a friend whose husband does that for each and every long run.
