It’s a ride and a run combined into one workout. I believe the name “brick” was somehow derived from “bike” and “run.” So, in your case Chris, you might call it a “chick.”<br><br>

Bike, Run, ICCCKKKK! You go straight from riding the bike to running. Your muscles turn to jello, and you generally feel, well, icky! Hence the name! (Actually, I don't think that's where the name is from, but I read that once!)

I also think of it as you are stacking workouts on top of one another, like you do with bricks when you build a wall. Except now you are building a wall of fitness.<br><br>

So, when you go from the hand-cycle to the racing chair, do your arms/shoulders feel like Jell-o?? If not, I guess you don't have to worry about it! JK!
