Drat. Blood in my urine.

Went through this last year, complete with the handy-dandy cytoscopy only to be told it was just bruising.

I've been very very good about running hydrated.

*sigh*

Guess I'll have to see a specialist again. I know it's not just the miles but the exertion. Tough. I'll still run the marathon.

Sorry, Grizzly. I don't have any advice, but good luck sorting this out.

Oh, I remember when this happened before. At least you know what it is.

Please be careful though and get it checked out.

Grizzly, this is not at all uncommon if you have had a sharp increase in Kms/miles or if you have done any hard racing.

I can't say 100% that blood in the urine has nothing to do with a low iron/ferritin count, however all high Km/mileage runners suffer to some degree from low iron counts. Foot crush syndrome
