<p>I struggled with depression about 12 years ago. At the time, I knew there was something wrong, I just didn't have name for it. I wouldn't have said I was 'depressed' though there was something wrong - it wasn't the term that I would have identified with it.</p>

<p>So - I think someone can be depressed and not know that it's clinical depression, but I don't believe someone can suffer from clinical depression without knowing something is wrong.</p>
