<p>It's actually more common than one might think.  Depression isn't always pure sadness.  Unless you're suffering from major knock-me-on-my-ass depression, the symptoms can manifest themselves in different ways that one might not associate with depression.   Anything from restlessness, change in sleep patterns, change in appetite, change in mood, loss of interest in crap that used to be fucking fascinating.</p>

<p>Nervous elderly parents are an equally common phenomena though.  Especially if you're placed in an unusually stressful situation to begin with.  <span><img alt="razz.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/razz.gif"></span></p>
