I WAS gonna join a new tri group...then realized that was perhaps a waste of $. I mean...last year I trained 95% by myself...I was with a group that I did nothing with (mainly b/c of crazy lady). Also mainly b/c everyone else was sprinters and oly-ers and who wants to do 7 hour bike rides?

Ok.

So my ?

-My prob with tri suits are that the tops are like belly shirts. I have a loooong torso.

-Which brands make longer cuts?

In tri gear? found nada. I stick to normal workout gear for the tops.

My tri club got tri-shirts and I got some, 2x I think, and I have to use freakin safety pins to keep them from rolling up my belly. Britney-I-Am-Not

Someone in our club find this dude who can print about anything on about anything.. so I am thinking of finding some plain white coolmax shirts that fit PROPER and getting our club logo put on them.

depends on the race. If I wear a wetsuit, then I just put my shirt on pre-swim and wetsuit on top. Otherwise, topless and then throw on my shirt in T1

I think you should try topless. Pix please though, thank you very much

My tri-suit experience is the same - it rolled up big time up my belly (GI issues sure didn't help matters any) I did the same thing as ronbo - shirt underneath wetsuit

And 1! on the second notion

Topless pics would certainly get everyone else over to this site

I have the same problem with Tri tops creeping up. Being 6' 4" doesn't help me. The two tri tops that I have end up above my belly button by the end of the race. I can position my race belt so it doesn't look as bad.

Tithers, I'm sorry to say, but your IMFL finish line video has been bumped out of my dauther's #1 viewing list. You've replaced by "The Wiggles - Big Red Car" dvd

I use a men's top, its much longer. I have a very long torso and found the women's too short. I wear a sports bra under it. I should say used as I haven't try'd in a while, I gave up wetsuits after my first tri.
So ignore the signs and try on some men's gear.

Swim-I used a men's top at GCT last year. Still a belly shirt. Mom always told me she thought I was a dwarf at birth b/c of my leg/torso ratio.

Still a belly shirt.
