You know...one of those swim outlet grab bad race suits...endurance suit...whatever suit.

I guess it's mostly polyester-no elastic it says.

Anyhoo-I chaffed on my armies every time I wore it. My right arm pit area (nicely shaven) is very red and chaffy-chafed.

What gives?

My others regular cheaper speedos give me no grief.

Anyone ever chaffe from a suit?

Such a shame...I guess that's what I get for a swim PR.

Such a shame-it's a funky little suit...I likes it...

Yah...but you don't wear girlie suits where your arms rub over seams...or do you go tranny in the pool?

Uh... not sure. They're Speedos. From the grab bag. I'd check but two of 'em are in the drawer upstairs and two hanging on the line in the basement. Too lazy to check... All suits will chafe, just not every time. Not a clue why. I've chafed running, too. Can't figure out what seam it could ahve been.

No chafe from my grab bag Speedo but I'm not keen on the cut or the lycra fabric. But it's functional and I'll wear it and the odd demented pattern is rather endearing. I prefer the Tyr grab bag suit I got at the same time.

Hmmm.....
I'm not sure what sort of fabric you got, but I've NEVER chaffed from a swim suit before.

Running, yes.
Swimming, no.

The endurance fabric is great....it totally does last. I've got one that's probably almost a year old, now, and it's still going strong, with no "invisible butt" action going on.

you should repost your belly shot!

H-this fab is not your "typical" swim suit fab...

I never knew people swam in polyester...the shell of my cheap speedos are nylon and spandex

No...it's the fabric. You ever run in wet clothes? Just sayin

Anyhoo...it's a rougher texture...I think it's happening when I go from the pull to the recovery...it's the inside of my arms...upper arms rather.

It also sounds like your suit fits funny.

TITHERS--I got a new speedo suit, swam in in numerous times (like 5-7) and than one day--my arm was chafed (hurt)---so now I just body glide my arms everytime I swim--works like a charm---not sure what it will do to the life of the suit--but its what I am doing now----thats just my 0.02

Does it fit properly? I have a speedo endurance, and I love that thing! I just wears and wears; my lycra suits seemed to be crap within 3 months, but this suit just holds up so much better. I'm guessing it may be a fit issue?

The fit may be off...it's too small in the chest and too big in the waist.

I find that there are certain cuts that just don't fit my shape very well.
Speedo gives me the best luck, but even in that brand, there are some that just DON'T work.

So, I stick with what works and generally do ok. But sometimes, I do want to branch out into other things, then I just end up with giant wedgies! No fun!
