<p>In my case I fell on a run and severely bruised the bones in my left elbow and arm a couple of weeks ago.  The orthopedic doctor will not let me run for 6 to 8 weeks until the arm is strong enough to fully extend and catch me in the event of another fall.  Right now if I was to fall my head and/or face are the probable stopping points of the fall.</p>

<p>Thus,I'm relegated to stationary bicycling, some arm exercises to get the left arm back to normal and very light treadmill workouts just barely above a walk pace.  He has also cleared me for walking on a track course or at Stone Mountain Park where I can walk in the street for 2.5 miles free from interference from cars.</p>

<p>I haven't looked back in here since the end of the last VRAA, but as I remember we used to take breaks every now and then between the action.</p>

<p>Have patience, there will be more VRAA events.</p>

<p>I'm disappointed every time I check in to see nothing's going on with VRAA.  I've never been a top competitor, but it's fun to have a team to report back to when I complete a run.  I hope some time will help us get pumped up again!</p>
