What time of day do you usually run? If you're an evening runner, it takes a lot longer than you might think for the endorphins to fully drain from your system, allowing it to start shutting down. I think the general rule is you want to be done running at least 3 hours before bed time.

Do you monitor your heart rate? If your resting heart rate has increased recently, you might be overstressing your system and might want to take an easy week.

Have you changed your dietary habits recently? Often without realizing it, we'll slack on our nutritional choices when our mielage increases. A soda before bed might be the issue.

I made a similar shift in mileage starting in the Fall and also suffer from bad sleep. However; it typically depends on when I run. If it's after work, I'm eating late and generally more wired, which is a bad combination. The short, dark, dreary days don't help either.

This can be a sign of over training. Make sure you have built in enough recovery days and weeks. It might be time now for a recovery week if you've been steadily increasing your mileage without a step back.
