I'm currently on vacation in Wis Dells and have a long run of 22 miles on the schedule this week. I'm trying to decide if I should split the run into two 11 milers so as not to interfere with family time. Yes, I could probably fit the whole 22 in if I got up really early to do it. However, the weather forecast for the next few days doesn't look good and I'm not 100% sure where the best place to run is with the weather outlook. I did have a 5.2 mile loop planned out before we came, but with the bad weather moving in, it doesn't look good...I don't want to have to run in the dark, in bad weather, in an unfamiliar place. I could probably manage the whole 22 on the treadmill, and am actually considering that as an option too. Heck I may have to do both 11's on the treadmill anyway.

So, what do you think? Thanks in advance.

I think you'd be fine splitting the run up and it sounds like that's the way you're leaning and just looking for support for that decision. 22 mi is a long time on the treadmill, I'm sure you can do it but you'll probably be bored. I'd split it up whether it was inside or out.
