A little commiseration, here?

It's weird it went from having some shin pain pop up here and there... to one of the most painful runs in my life like *snap*

I had some shin pain walking around, but not much, and it hurt when I touched the inside shin... but I thought it might be a "phantom pain" since with my being sick and all, I didn't run Friday, Sunday, or Monday (and only 5K on Saturday)..

But went on my run today and by halfway through, I had tears in my eyes. I finished running but it HURT.
On the plus side, it doesn't hurt very bad walking around afterwards. Sometimes when I run through, it stops hurting while I run, but begins hurting intensely every other second of my life. It's really sensitive to the touch so I'm icing it right now.

Looks like I'll be taking a few days off running.

I really don't get it either... Last weeks mileage wasn't high... All I can figure is more activity outside of exercise, and that I did a lot of "quality" runs last week. 4 of them... normally do 2-3 and 3-4 "junk" mile days... Thought it would be okay because I took two days off running instead of 1 like normal, but apparantly I was wrong.
