It is rely windy.....my cast iron patio table just flipped........glass everywhere! This happened a few years back and I paid $300 to replace glass. My patio is enclosed on 3 sides. No, I won't be fix in it again...happy that it didn't hit my house windows. I'm afraid to clean up the mess..but afraid that it will hit my hose. If you hear I have glass in my eyes ....you know the story

<p> DO you have a receipt for the glass you replaced ? Maybe the glass place will cover it under  "customer satisfaction."</p>

<p> OR...  Get plywood  sut to size and make a  tile top for the  table --- More solid maybe for future windiness  ( Install eye hooks on the bottom and  anchor table to  cinder blocks or deck ? ) </p>

<p>so far, however, our neighbor's <strong>giant</strong> 34 yr old nasty silver maples have only dropped mid-sized branches all over our yard....and no giant limbs on top of our garage</p>

<p>(we're waiting for the day one of their trees topples over & flattens our sunroom....wonder if insurance payout would be enough to re-side the entire home?)</p>
