Try and increase the protein a little, 30-35% and lower the carbs, although fruit is good, that is where I get 90-95% of my carbs. I love this time of year because so many things are in season.<br><br>
My shoulder, well that started about a year ago. i was digging holes for a fence and my bicep tendon got inflamed. I went to the dr and got a cortisone shot and did one day of PT. I hate PT as I had spent just about 18 mos in PT for my right shoulder.<br><br>
the pain never really went away, i just dealt with it. started playing hockey and the repetetive shooting motion inflamed it worse, but no big deal. then, during a game, i fell with my arm outstretched. that is when it really started feeling bad and it hasn;t gotten any better. taking about 2400 milligrams of ibuprofen, gloucosamine with msm, ice and heat but the inflamation just doesn;t want to go away. I have taken a complete week off from doing anything, including playing hockey in hopes that i would feel a little beter, but no go.<br><br>
so i am just going to work on core stuff the next couple of weeks, with some running. I have a dr's appt on the 16th of july and i'll have 2 weeks off from hockey the week of the 4th. we'll see<br><br>
