Shall we strike the 16th and 17th amendments from the Constitution?

<p>I realize this board is not into politics as much as the other place but Rick Perry certainly has some interesting ideas whether I agree with them or not.  Wonder what a Perry/Bachman ticket would be like.     Not of course that I would ever indicate my personal political sentiments  <span id="user_yui_3_3_0_8_131386258246614"><img alt="wink.gif" id="user_yui_3_3_0_8_131386258246613" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif" style="width:16px;height:16px;"></span> but I'm trying to figure out what would be the difference between Iran and the United States under  Perry/Bachman.  Would we have massive retraining clincs for homosexuals under the Health Department led by Bachman's husband?</p>

<p>It's funny how those who most preach the constitution wish to change it the most.</p>

<p>I think instead of a 2/3 vote in Congress to overturn Supreme Court decisions it could be done as a direct democracy using a Facebook Poll.</p>
