<p>Anyone know a good site with pictures of the seeds/nuts that drop off trees.  My kids picked up a bunch of them from the back yard at my dad's house and they want to plant them but I don't even know what kind of tree they are.</p>

<p>I will take a picture this afternoon and get it posted for you. I figured if anyone knew of a good website with pictures I could look it up myself but I haven't been able to find a good website yet.</p>

<p>That is what I was afraid of.  I didn't pay attention to what kind of trees they were under.  I might just plant them and figure it out next time we are up there.</p>

<p>looks a lot like hickory as altoids suggests.  Maybe related to them or walnuts.</p>
