<p>It's going to be random matching, right? </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Susan....lots of gifts are sent/received.</p>
<p>Common ones:</p>
<p>Race shirt exchanges (this was the first one that was done awhile back, just shirt trades)</p>
<p>Socks</p>
<p>nutrition samples/flavors you don't eat</p>
<p>gadgets (blinky lights, etc.)</p>
<p>"goody bag mining finds" (some collect the things from various race bags and put together a "care package" of those items)</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Uncommon ones:</p>
<p>homemade goodies (usually by the bakers in the group -- NOT from me, don't worry!)</p>
<p>specialty items specific to the recipient</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The idea is NOT to spend lots of bucks, rather to have an additional fun goody box that gets traded within the list.</p>

What they said, race shirts you never wore (fun for them to try to figure out who the Secret Santa is), cute socks, hats, lots of people send something that is a clue of where they are from so you can figure out.  I sent a fabulous scarf to my recipient last year and a special homemade goodie..............it's really fun, join in!</p>
