<p>I cannot express to you how much all your love and support has carried me through this nightmare. I try to take things dad by day, minute by minute, sometimes breath by breath.</p>

<p>My husband was an amazing individual who touched the lives of so many. Not only did he serve his country with honor, but he was a joy to all those he met. I want my husband honored in every way possible.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Our local running group Katy Fit is trying to put together a memorial run around the park we lived next to. Right now they are looking for ideas to make it special. If you would like to help with this in some way shape or form, please email Lin Hale at [email protected] .</p>

<p>  Although it's not the right time of year, maybe a "themed" toys-for-tots idea might work. Participants would donate toy construction equipment - cranes, bull-dozers, dump trucks, etc. - in honor of his being part of a construction battalion.</p>
