<p>My SIL wrote on facebook that my nephew broke his nose.  Her friend, whom I don't know, responded and said she hoped he doesn't look like a [nickname for racoon].</p>

<p>I thought she was using [nickname for racoon] in it's old-fashioned, racially offensive slur sense, and I very nearly posted an irate WTF response.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Then I realized she actually meant racoon, since people with broken noses sometimes get two black eyes. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Oh, lord.</p>
