There is NO way I am running 6's tomorrow. Guesses?

I was smart and took my own advice. I was thinking 5M with three 4min fast parts mixed in. Woulda' been too much.

You are funny. Awesome and yoga in the same sentence. And heading up to RI. You must be in Long Island Sound.

Yes, yes, Bonhomme. I survived. Muffed the first one completely because we used the wrong line (rank amateurs), but thereafter ...

45,43,43,45,45,44,45,45,43 (saved the best for last)

Had a decent warmup, but it was chilly out there. I think next time I might just try the tights to keep the legs warmer.

One of the three women working out this morning -- someone I've known for about a year -- I just found out today is 60. Gobsmacking! Woulda sworn she was maybe 52 max. (No geezers in sight, Pro.) She's going to be duking it out this year against my other friend Pauline. They're both such fine runners and wonderful women.

How fun this running stuff is. Yes, tomwhite, I'm still STOKED!

Great run, choovie. Give La T the seared tuna from your lunch for me, Pro.

MB,
No PR. I think the M training is not good for speed. I was really geared up for the 18:41. I think Sunday may be 19:41.

SS,
Those were 200M repeats? If so nicely done!

Guess all I need to do is "Ditto" what Millbot said.

Suppose to ride 65 mile bike this morning "Conquer the Coast". Due to heavy rains, flooding at the Naval Air Station, and lightning they canceled the 65 mile ride and those who showed up rode the 25 mile fun ride 1.5 hours later. Turned out to be a time trial type ride. Rode well and had fun; was in a group of 6 with 5 miles to go and at 4 miles we were going to see what everyone had left in the tank. One was a local rider who is better than I and the others were from out of town. I attacked, they came back, we were riding in line, I flatted out. Still raining out and suppose to most of next week. Good luck racers and be safe.

Nope, I live just north of Westchester County. And with a good teacher, yoga is so incredibly amazing! I love it and wish I could do it several times a week instead of once (sometimes twice) a week.

Yesterday was my mom's birthday and she has a difficult time on weekends since my dad died last year. So I thought it would be nice to spend 2 days with her. She's spoiling me terribly. I just had a freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookie about the size of a dessert plate!

Great workout, Sans!

I kept it simple: 1:20 @ 6 min/km, nice and easy. Knocked out one six-er after another and finished with an arithmetically neat 13.33 km. (Honest!) Weather just right, mid 40's, cloudy, little breeze.

When my son's karate class begins, Sensei stands before them and roars, "How do you feel today?" They yell back, "I F E E L G R E A T!"

I'm feeling pretty great, too.

Am on my way back outdoors to do the rain dance, in the hopes that the looming front can be coaxed into blowing through tonight so I can go biking tomorrow AM.
