Good morning,

Up early so I can do a little bit of work and then I will try and head back to bed for a couple of hours.

DD's final regular season soccer game, then end of season pizza party to follow that.

I will then get to see part of the Purdue vs Iowa game and then I have to do my weekend work for a couple of hours. It should go smoothly, I hope. Then I can relax for the rest of the evening.

Have a good one.

Happy soccer celebrations, Eric.
Hope Purdue gets past Iowa, and becomes bowl eligible!

Last night's BCS upset was eye-opening! Wonder what'll happen with the standings after this weekend?

Today is opening day of the deer gun hunt season...holy crap...my BIL was like a little kid before Xmas. So excited to go freeze in a deer stand. hahahaha

Actually, sis and I may help walk the woods and fields to drive deer for him later this week. Blaze orange fashion, here we come!

Costco seems to be the place to shop. When we were in Minneapolis last weekend, it seemed that every one of my friends had memberships!
At the dinner table, they went on about shopping there.

How much is a membership?

Morning folks. Just a regular Saturday day here. Then I'll go to a concert of Cuban chamber music tonight. Should be interesting since the 4 members of the group are parents and daughters. Enjoy your weekend.

Sad events; but glad you're back, safe and sound.

Cuban chamber music sounds interesting. I'll have to google it and listen to some.

Todd? You okay?

-30c with the windchill (22 below f) out to shovel and then run. I guess I am "back". Maybe. Sorta.

Our bowl game was a rout in the cold. Laval won something like 40 to 10. Oh well. On to the national championship.

Did a 20 mile group run at 6am this morning. Finished just under 4 hours. We ran 7 miles through the Peachtree Battle neighborhood area and then dropped off the hal marathoners training with us. We then proceeded from Peachtree Battle to Lenox Road, turned around and ran the Peachtree Road Race course before returning to Peachtree Battle Shopping center. Weather was somewhat cool this morning, but I was able to wear shorts and short sleeve shirt for the last 13 miles.

Bravo Reb!

Today, -30f (-22F) with the wind chill. I did 7.42 miles, with 600 feet climb/drop overall. I did change things up a bit, as I ran by time intervals rather than distance run/walk. 14/1 minutes. 5 repetitions and the runs came out at an average 9:47 pace. Unfortuately the last interval was a 10:05, but I was getting tired.

Just did it to prove to myself that I still could... all of the running was close to home in case I had to bail.
