10.5 miles trails. I had planned for 14, but my knee started burning again, so I deemed it better to cut it short rather than inflict too much more damage. Not feeling too great about it.<br><br>
On the bright side, it was only up to the low 70's by the time I finished, so it was lovely weather to run in.<br><br>
I saw 6 doe and a hawk.
17 with temps in the 70s but a billion % humidity. I managed to lock my keys, phone, fluids, and fuel in the car, so it was extra "exciting." I was able to get water at the rest area water fountain, but not as much or often as usual. Definitely character building this morning.

The plan was 8-10K race. Couldn't find a race to do, so I was left again to do an individual time trial type effort. I decided to run 6.4 miles, the first 3.2 miles out and then turned around and ran back.<br><br>

Plan today was a 8-10K race. Again, a search of the race calendars at coolrunning.com revealed no 10Ks in Northern New England this weekend. So I was reduced to doing an individual time trial.<br><br>
In my first ITT run several weeks ago, I ran over this same course. Back then it was a 9 mile ITT, so I continued out another 1.3 miles before turning back.<br><br>
I felt pretty good, but had to keep telling myself to keep pushing the pace. I kept wanting to go into my normal marathon training pace.<br><b>Run Segments<br>
