Good morning Team!

3000m swim ! Still slow but I was able to complete the workout without killing myself. FIB breakfast with the Tri club mbmers. Then I ran around like a chekcn with its head cut off; pickup DD at home & drop her off at her dance, stopped by the boy scout's fall cleaning site (where DH and DS were) to take a pizza order. Drove to the nearby pizza store place an order. Drove home. Changed into a running gear in a record speed of 2 min. Then ran, ran ran to the aforementioned pizza store to pick up pizza. Speedwalked to the fall cleaning site carring them. Resumed running after dropping them off. And ran some more to finish 8 miler to home.

Phew.

Planning to go see a movie with DS.

Enjoy your day!

Devil's Chase 6.66 miler - managed a blistering (hah) 1:21:17 while wearing a tutu. More importantly executed the race plan my coach gave me, and felt really great the whole way through.

4 mile run this morning. As I was running past my neighbor's house their dog ran at me right into the road and was hit by a pickup. The truck didn't stop, the dog ran back across the road to it's house and I let the neighbors know what had happened. Hope the dog is ok.

Just waiting for it to start snowing. We are supposed to get 5-10" of heavy, wet stuff.

Yoshiko - I'm tired just reading that!

MoCo - Solid job executing your race plan! That can be the toughest thing sometimes.

ksup - Hope the dog is okay. Even if the collision wasn't the drivers fault, they still should have stopped.

For those folks expecting the first snows, stay safe! Been snow for at least a month up north.

Me - Easy 34 mile mountain bike ride on the Great Western Trail with Moe. Great to catch up with her, it's been forever since we've gotten together. Around ~2:40.

Got a dinner party with some of my non-virtual running peeps tonight, should be a blast!

Thor: The PureConnect and PureFlow are both neutral. Connect is the lightest of the Pure Project line, Flow is the most cushioned. Grit is very similar to Flow except the outsole is more rugged for trail use and not as cushioned. All these shoes feature Brooks DNA cushioning system which adapts to the individual depending on the speed and forces applied to the shoe. They also use Brooks BioMogo foam in the midsole. BioMogo is constructed so that once the shoe reaches a landfill it breaks down in a few years as opposed to most other brands taking up to a thousand years.

Devil's Chase. 55:30 for 6.66. a PR by roughly a minute, given that i didn't feel fast at all and it was COLD as hell. Small course changes, but mostly apples to apples. I'm happy, it's amazing what losing 12 lbs had done for my speed.

No real RR: went easy ish to start and apparently ran like a sub 8 mile 5-6 (I have to double check that though)
