Good morning peeps! Grey rainy morning here. Nice not to have any big training day ahead and to sleep in, .4.6mile easy run. L shoulder still gets sore during a run, but body is feeling better overall, clocking well under 9 and it felt easy. I was good this week - two full rest days and took all runs easy. One more week of this and may start training for something.

DH is doing 16miler, DS heading to 6hrs of martial arts trainig (!) and DD doing 2.5hrs of dancing. I am a slacker.

2.5 to 3 mile easy run early this morning. Not feeling too spunky -- in fact, feeling a bit rundown. Adrenaline should smooth all of that over in the morning.

Great day, peeps!

I'm back! for the day at least. The wireless connection at my apartment hasn't been working so I've sort of been MIA for a week or so.

Anyway, did an easy 4.75 mile run today. My first since finishing the season up last week. I'm still trying to take it as easy as possible, but it was too nice out not to run.

It's a gorgeous day here in the neighborhood. I ran a mile plus on my favorite nearby dirt road, then took a yoga class. Afterwards, DH and I took one of our other favorite short hikes, around 3 miles. It was just too nice out to stay inside.

For this afternoon, a good novel is calling my name. I'll clean tomorrow.

Enjoy your day everyone and put in a few miles for me.

12 mile easy ride this afternoon. It was a cool 52 degrees and breezy so I had to break out the tights.

Had a nice view of the Connecticut river which is extremely high due to the recent rain. There

were hundreds of pumpkins floating down the river. Apparently a pumpkin field upstream got

flooded.

6 miler this mronign early from teh Y. Ran with a friend who needed to do 11 as he preps for BAA half so we did the middle with him. Followed by 18 holes of golf. Used a cart which was somewhat disappointing. Great weather for both things.

I participated in the Great Ghost Rider Ramble. 43 miles in 16-20 mph winds. After many years of watching The Tour, I now know what a cross wind feels like. It doesn't feel good!

Fighting a sore throat and some fatigue the last couple days. Took yesterday off as scheduled (nice when that works out), then did a 7m run this morning. Had to work most of the morning, then I've been planted firmly on the couch this afternoon with the house to myself (woohoo!). I have 20 on tap for tomorrow, so hoping to feel a little better.
