Today is National Boss's Day. On a Saturday ... really? According to Wikipedia it is a day where traditionally employees thank their boss for being kind and fair throughout the year. Yeah, right.

I'm back up north so that means I'm back on the dreadmill. 1 hour run, 8.3 miles. Easy and steady pace. I'm thinking I'll keep my unstructured training going through the end of Oct and then start to ramp up again.

Planning on hitting the pool tonight for an hour of steady swim.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I was a little hung over this morning but managed to bang out 45 minutes of an intense spin class, and then a hour of yoga. After a great shower and some food, I'm feeling awesome.

Enjoy your day, everyone.

3200yd group swim workout and yay I completed it!!!! The shoulder is a little sore but no biggie. I will get back to my usual lane in no time. Only 12 or so showed up TOTAL (usually 30+), probably because of the Detroit marathon tomororw and outside being so nice. Hoping to get out for a short run, maybe on a trail.

I decided not to do anything sporty today, opting instead to try to install something in the house.

So, both of my toolboxes are out and waiting to be reorganized as a result of use, and the cabinets in the house are shaking in their boots....

wondering what's coming their way.

It all depends on the dimensions, my friends..........dimensions will decide all.

Ok.

Maybe too much caffeine @ lunch!

Complete FAIL of a run... went to trail- 1/2 way realized forgot ipod. Hell no. Drove 10min back... got ipod, get to trail, start running and shin cramps in minutes. CRAP. Stretch, stop, resume... NOT. This is not fun, decided to abort.

Kom Do class was a blast. We sat down and had to throw up a tennis ball, rise, draw our sword, and hit the ball LEVEL to the ground. Wowzer, that was tough AND fun. Repeat.... about 50 times.

and now trolling the neighborhood selling popcorn with my cubscouts. So probably 5-6 miles of walking I'm going to guess

So, I was the powertool chick today.

I installed 4 undercabinet organizers, 2 pull out, two just shelves.

I reorganized under the bathroom sink.

I reorganized the pantry

I reorganized under the kitchen sink,

AND, no limbs were lost in the process.

Of course, I found that I have 6 boxes of Triscuits, only 1 of which is open (thank goodness),

3 boxes of Saltines, 1 open.

9 boxes of various sized ziploc bags

and one bottle of catsup whose date reads 1/09. It looks a lot more like chocolate pudding than I'm thinking any bottle of catsup should look.

Needless to say, it's going in the trash.

Now, for a relaxing movie with Matthew McCaunneghy (or however you spell his name), and some delivered food for dinner.

The game just got finished, and there is NO WAY that I'm driving anywhere with the traffic about to leave town in a vertiable exodus.
