Happy Guy Fawkes Day!

58 mile group ride this AM. The water in my bottle started to freeze within the first hour. I think that's a first for me....

Ended up close to 50F by the end though - so quite pleasant as the ride went on.

Had to stop into my LBS in the last 10 miles or so, to get my shift lever looked at. A little application of tr-flow and I could shift into the small ring again. Wished I'd had it for the first 40 miles of the ride though! (Pretty hilly).

Anyway - nice to still be riding. 5000 miles is out of reach - but may hit 4500 before retiring for the year.

Happy weekend all.

Reg - you hard-core you! You have enough time left for... 4700 miles!!
Julie - wish you a quick and complete recovery.
Jen - denial - sounds like a taper to me! Enjoy all the hardwork you've done

3100m on my own. I miss the group workout but this works better in every other ways. Still get to spend som time over a breakfast with the club friends afterwards. Fib a few hours of handwork, half of which with DS and his friend, yeah I recruited him to sleep over and help us
Then, couldn't resist hitting the singletrack on such a gorgeous fall day (mid 50's)! Didn't have Amy unexpected encourer with a tree this time. Yoshiko - 1, Tree - 0.

DH raced the Iceman in traverse city. He had a much better race in spite of signicantly less amount of riding this year. Having fun with his club friends.
