Saturday, November 5 Workouts

<p>58 mile group ride this AM. The water in my bottle started to freeze within the first hour. I think that's a first for me....</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Ended up close to 50F by the end though - so quite pleasant as the ride went on.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Had to stop into my LBS in the last 10 miles or so, to get my shift lever looked at. A little application of tr-flow and I could shift into the small ring again. Wished I'd had it for the first 40 miles of the ride though! (Pretty hilly).</p>

<p>Anyway - nice to still be riding. 5000 miles is out of reach - but may hit 4500 before retiring for the year.</p>

<p>Basic daily run. Ribs really hurting again today. I must have tweaked them while sleeping or something. Good thing I don't race again for a week.</p>

Cool/low 40s - Cloudy and very windy. Crawford/Puckett/Security/Kiva/Fontaine/Grinnell/Crawford/Upton/home. Short very slow easy effort run. Bruised ribs really hurting again today. Stretching afterward.</p>
